Purpose and Benefit Statements

Public Benefit Statement

Laugh, Move & Groove provides fun, seated exercise sessions for people with reduced mobility due to age, physical or mental disability, or those recovering from injury or illness. Our sessions encourage movement and physical activity for individuals who may otherwise struggle to stay active. In addition to the health benefits, the classes also create valuable opportunities for social interaction, with many participants staying afterwards to enjoy refreshments, conversation, and companionship.

Main Activities

The Objects of the Association (the "Objects") shall be- To supply exercise and Laughter Yoga classes to charities, care homes and occasional corporate organisations, where their intention is to fundraise or for well being purposes. The income and property of the Association shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the Objects.

Delivery Of Activities

We deliver our sessions at a variety of locations across Jersey, including care homes, community venues, and Samares Ward. Over the course of a month, we support more than 200 clients with a wide range of abilities and needs. In addition to our regular classes, we also provide ad hoc sessions for charities and community groups looking to raise funds or enhance their events. Our sessions are particularly popular with organisations such as the Women’s Institute and groups that host regular social activities for older people.
